It is always better to maintain our non-verbal communication effectively in addition to verbal communication, because in almost all the aspects of our-everyday life, including employment non-verbal communication is also counted.

Non-verbal communication has its own value and importance. In addition to improving our effective communication skills in both verbal and written, we should also find the ways to improve non-verbal communication as well. Let’s discuss briefly about the importance of non-verbal communication.

There are mainly three methods of communication in business organizations, oral or verbal, written and non-verbal. Each and every method of communication has its own value and significance. As such, it is important to develop effective communication skills in both oral and written. Also, It is important to maintain right body language, as bodily mannerisms, postures, and facial expressions can be interpreted as unconsciously communicating your feelings and psychological state.

Hence, it is necessary that you uphold all methods of communication effectively and efficiently in your organization.

It must be noted that some verbal messages can be diluted by non-verbal expressions easily. You would have observed that some people are in the habit of making such expressions that can be interpreted as showing anger, being impatient, being impetuous or having a tendency to act on sudden urges or desires. Besides, surprise, enjoyment or joy and excitement can be identified by non-verbal expressions. It is therefore of great importance to demonstrate right body language in a business organization so as to create a good impression on your superiors, subordinates or colleagues.

If you maintain right body posture in business meetings, seminars, conferences and business presentations, you can not only create your good image in the people around you, but also succeed in your tasks effectively. Maintaining right body language includes demonstrating your physical movements in such a way that it does not look unusual or awkward. Lacking physical coordination and grace leads to leave a bad impression on others.

Effective communication skills of both verbal and written, on the one hand, help you greatly in making professional development enabling you to create your own value in your organization, on the other hand, non-verbal communication aids you in creating your image, as your disposition or temperament or behavior tendency can be determined by non-verbal communication.
