Usually, a minimum required education to be an accountant is a bachelor degree in accounting or a bachelor degree in business field with related accounting and finance subjects or courses. Some organizations may also prefer Master degree in the concerned field for the same job.

A good way is to complete your graduation and be employed first, as there are firms that hire even fresh graduates.

All that you need to do is to gain more experience in addition to your bachelor degree that you have possessed in the field.

You can also prefer to go for part time jobs or internship while you are studying. Working as an unpaid assistant in an organization to gain experience is not a bad idea as well. While working, you can continue your Master degree in the same area if you are interested to enhance your education. In this way, you will have got a better job with brighter scopes in your chosen career.

Considering a career move or development is not uncommon once you are employed. You would like to expand your career and be interested in better prospects. Accounting and finance field has various scopes. You may be promoted to Senior Accountant, Accounts Supervisor or you will be working in the capacity of Financial Analyst or Financial Manager on the basis of required experience while pursuing higher education or professional certification, such as, CPA or CMA.
